iPad Air 2 Screen Distortion

I have a question regarding the screen distortion in iPad Air 2, whenever I hold the back of my iPad a bit firmly on the right hand side the pressure leads to screen distortion in that particular area. Is this because the iPad Air 2 is too thin? Should I be really worried about this? Will this harm that certain area of the iPad when I put pressure on it? Or will it harm my iPad or any of its Parts inside?
