Photos displaying in wrong order

Another question,

The photos application on my iPhone is not showing the photos in the order they are taken.

Sometimes deleted photos are showing back up after a couple of days, when viewing the photos in the photos application on my iMac the photos seem not to be there. How can I fix this?
