I tried to delete the adnxa.com cookie but it keeps reappearing after a second or so. I assume that I do not have the ib.adnxs.com computer nasty as I do not see any pop-ups, although I have blocked pop-ups; there is no cookie of the name either. Should I be bothered about this adnxs.com cookie and if so how can I delete it?

If Safari is working problem free, nothing more to do.

Turn all extension off, relaunch Safari and test.
Turn those on one by one and test.
2. Use free AdwareMedic to remove adware

Install , open, and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button to remove adware.
Once done, quit AdwareMedic.

Strangely, I already had extensions turned off and there were none in the list, so I moved the slider to ON and then back to OFF again. After turning Safari off and on again, the adnxa.com was no longer in my cookie list.
Do I really need use the AdwareMedic now, as I am reluctant to download any non-apple software?
