Hi. Where can I find the root file / folder of the photos in my photos app? Before, in iPhoto, I could find the root folder of a picture by clicking on a photo then go to File - show original file. How do I do that in Photos? Thanks

That facility is not available in Photos.app
Export the photo instead.
Hi Terence. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I did some research about this and I got some answers so far. I have already accessed the master files of my images. 🙂
Just remember that accessing the file directly is not supported and risks dataloss
If you need a copy of the original file just Option-drag the thumbnail of the photo to the Desktop. That will give you a copy of the original file quickly and safely.
