Sharing photos with Apple tv and then syncing (caches)???

Hi there,

Finally got to share computer to normal tv and then with Apple tv little box shared photos for screen saver on tv which is wonderful.

Now wanting to sync MacBook Pro via lead to my IPad 3rd gen, and don't want all those photos on my iPad. All updated with latest IOS and Yosemite. We are not clouded. Does the folder with photos in for sharing to apple TV keep a cache. Do I need to delete this cache?

Best way to do this?

Anyone know?
