Ipad 2 restarts after ios 8.4

Did an upgrade to IOS 8.4 and now the iPad keeps restarting itself.

Tried doing a reset and restore of the device also tried putting it in recovery mode and connecting it to iTunes to reload the IOS.

Nothing works - please help!

If restart/reset/restore/restore as new device did not help, take your device to the Apple Store for further diagnostics.

Thanks for the response - nearest Apple store is 80 miles away!

Any other ideas please?
