macbook

I have the black MacBook, got it in 2008. Recently though, when I turn on the computer, it does not show my dock, it does not show my applications on the desktop, the time, the battery, anything. But it works fine. Then, when I turn it on using safe mode, it shows everything perfectly. How do I fix this?
