iPhone 6 Plus

I am trying to turn my phone into dfu mode until it says to plug into iphone. As it's updating/restoring, the phone is trying to turn on then it says it's charging because my battery is actually dead. Any suggestions?

Have you given the battery enough time to attempt to charge? If not, give it an hour or two and then try again. If you're still having problems, you may need to take it to a Genius Bar to have them diagnose it and possibly replace the battery.
