Take a look at this Apple Support article:

Reset your network settings.
Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings
Reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on the phone.
Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings
TThanks, I tried this yesterday and just now. Occurred with this past update, this wifi network worked perfectly last Wednesday, came yesterday, after updating this past weekend, this is the only network that won't let me join since update
TThis issue has not been fixed counter to what system says
SSpoke to Apple, they advised when I get home to back up on my computer, then do a restore from the computer, they indicate this should fix it, we'll see on Thursday when I come back to the office.
Hi, How did you fix the issue ?
Hi,
I am having the same issues. My iPad Mini stopped showing a wifi icon (top left) and would not connect to any wifi. I was then forced to restore and update the device because it would not update. After the iPad has been restored and updated to the newest version (8.4.1), the wifi icon is still not there and it will not connect to any wifi.
Please help.
