I keep on receiving incoming messages with the timestamp 50 mins ago even if the message was just sent to me not less than 2 mins ago. my date and time settings are automatically set. I also tried setting it manually but nothing changed. I haven't been in any other country so I don't think roaming has something to do with it like other reviews has suggested. Please help me fix this. Thank you so much!

i have the very same issue with my iphone 5s running ios 8.4. Is this a carrier problem or a bug with the ios update on the iphone 5s?
were you able to report it to your carrier? It is very bothering. A while ago it says 50 mins ago, now it says 58 mins ago.
SInce when have you been dealing with this? Mine was just today before I updated my software to ios 8.4
Not yet,i will report it to the carrier tomorrow. it just happened today,this morning it says 12mins,and then now it says 1hr ago. Mine is iphone6, ios8.4 too. I also thought its because of the bug of the new update.
Mine started as 25m ago then now 1hr ago too. And it was before I updated the ios. Hope we can find a solution for this asap.

What about sending iMessages? Do those have the correct time stamp?

Mine, when it's iMessages, it's correct.
I have the same problem and it started this week before i upgrade to 8.4.
I Have the correct timestamp in imessage, thats why the apple representative said that the problem is the carrier im using.
I receive messages with the wrong time stamp. How can I fix it?
