Do I have a virus?

Hello guys!

I need a help with my safari!

Version 8.0.6 (10600.0.3)

Every time I click anywhere a new tab opens with an irrelevant webpage!

Do I have a virus?

What can I do to block this action happening overtime?

Is it serious? Do I have any chance to loose documents or harm my macbook?

Thank you in advance for your help

Cheers

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), iOS 8.2

Not a virus, but pesky adware problem. That can be cleaned quickly by going to Thomas Reed's site http://www.thesafemac.com and then to his AdwareMedic tool. AdwareMedic is a safe tool to use that a number of the major users on here support. Tom is a regular contributor on these Communities and a security person.
