when i got my iphone 5s in december i set up wrong email address and i am unable to verify the account bc that email is not an account that exists. I cant delete that account bc i do not know the password. What can i do?

From your post I see that you mistakingly signed in to an incorrect Apple ID on your iPhone, and are now unable to sign out of it due to not remembering the password. To resolve this issue you're going to need to reset the password for that Apple ID by following the instructions in the link below. After that, you can then sign in with the correct Apple ID.
