water damage
I dropped my iPhone 6 in water. It did work for a short time but now it will not. I was able to get the sim card out to help dry out the phone. Is there anything else I can do?

Probably not. Especially if you did not turn the phone off and dry it for a couple of days. Your device is probably toast. You can get the device replaced by Apple at a much reduced cost of a new device. Water damage is not covered by warranty.
