getting iCloud session has expired message and black screen on start-up

Hi, I am getting "iCloud Session Has expired" message, black screen and iTunes lock-up when opening iTunes since upgrade. I am on a Macbook pro with Yosemite (at most recent version). The message scree has user name pre-populated but will not allow input of password. Macbook also seems to be running hot when the frozen iTunes is still present. Needs re-boot to clear iTunes.

If possible, go to my reply to Kinusuro on July 4, around 6:00 A.M., under the heading "Installing, Removing, and Upgrading" at top of page. It was the start of a lot of discussions on your very problem.
