Footnotes and Endnotes

Hi, I'm using Pages '09 on a Mac running OS X 10.9.5 and wondering how to insert footnotes and endnotes into my document. I know how to insert them separately but want to use both throughout the text. Is there a way of doing this? I don't mind updating pages if that makes things easier. Thanks in advance.
