Synching photos to my ATV from iPhoto or Photos?

I am not currently using iPhoto or Photos. I need to synch somewhere around 150-200 photos to my ATV and am just wondering if I should do this via iPhoto or Photos. I did this previously in iPhoto around 2-yrs ago, though now that Photos is the new program, I'm just looking for some insight from anyone whether I should continue doing it in iPhoto or switch to Photos? I'm on the latest version of Yosemite.
