iCloud still linking to old email/password. How do I unlink?

Hello all,

Long story short, recently left a company and had my iPhone iCloud on the company email. I signed out of the iCloud account, created a new one and when I try to buy more iCloud storage it asking me for my old company iCloud password. Any way to unlink my phone from that company iCloud? I thought by signing out of iCloud and creating a new one would fix the issue, but it has not. Greatly appreciate your help.
