how do i get more vram

Question

how do i get more vram

i am running a 2011 i7 iMac with and radeon hd 6770m

and 12 gigs of ddr3

and final cut pro has stated i do not have enough Vram to accommodate the 3d features

i think I’m sure that the graphics ram isn’t connected to the ddr3 ram but i could be wrong so i wanted to know if there is anyway tp up your vram amount?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

There is nothing you can do about it. VRAM is not upgradeable, nor is the graphics card.

Your mac will still work with FCP X, but either won't be able to produce 3D titles or will do so with limitations.
