How Do I Reset My Missing iPod?

I have lost my iPod touch and I know that I won't be getting it back. I have removed my iCloud to protect my identity, which means that I can not use the "Find my iPhone" app to trace it. Is there any possible way I would be able to reset everything on there? All help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by reset?

Since you removed it from iCloud it is too late to try to erase it:

iCloud: Erase your device

In any event the erase or find seldom works on lost iPod since to work they have to be connected to the interent which is hard to do since thyy will only connect to a network they previously connected to.
