can't connect shuffle (1 generation) with itunes

I can see it in desktop but itunes don't show it, itunes is the lastest version (12.02)

Ipod Photo-OTHER, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Hi eloskar,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you connect the iPod to the computer but it is not recognized by iTunes. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

If you don't see your connected device in iTunes for Mac - Apple Support
