iTunes match skipping songs on iTunes 12.2 (OS X)...

I've got two MacBooks and recently signed up for iTunes match. After uploading/matching songs from the MacBook containing the library, I've been attempting to play the songs on the other MacBook. However, many songs play for about 2 seconds before skipping to the next track. This only seems to affect songs that were 'uploaded' rather than 'matched'. I'm wondering if I should re-attempt the upload somehow?
