If you enabled 'Find My iPhone' on it before losing it you can go to http://www.icloud.com to the 'Find My iPhone' section and you may be able to locate it there provided it is on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network.
If you didn't enable 'Find My iPhone' on it before losing it there is nothing you can do.
If it is actually stolen and you manage to locate it, do not try to locate it yourself - that could turn nasty. Report it to the police.
