impossible for imesssage to associate to my new number

Unable to Activate iMessage to my new iphone number; new number wont show under SEND & RECEIVE --> YOU CAN BE REACHED BY IMESSAGE AT...

only my Apple Id shows up-not my phone number.


1. waited more than 24 hrs (4 days)

2. time zone check

3. wi fi / data connection check

4. turn off/on imessage check

5. log off/on Apple id check

6. restart iphone check

7. latest iOS check

8 corrent iphone # in Apple id profile check

9 reset network setting check

10 consult a Monk on mount Kailash (in works)

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4, null

WHAT USA carrier are you using? I didn't ask if you were on a US carrier, I asked if you were using a supported carrier.


If you are using a supported carrier, is your carrier aware that you have an iPhone? If they are not, then chances are your account is not properly provisioned for an iPhone, which will cause the required SMS messages to fail to process.
