My yahoo mail cannot be opened when using safari-what do I need to do? It will open on Firefox.

Hi, when I use safari and type in my user name and password for yahoo, it will not open my email account. My yahoo account can be opened on other explorers, like Firefox so I don't think it is a problem with yahoo mail. I have also updated my software on my mac.

Any suggestions?
