iMac I3 8GB Ram Experiencing a lot of buffering. NOT down load speed. Could it be that I have a dual processor?

IMac I3 8GB Ram Download speeds fine. Have a LOT of "buffering". Could it be my dual core processors?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2010), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
