Can I update to OS X 10.10.4 without updating iTunes to 12.2?
I want to update my Mac to OS X 10.10.4 but I do not want to update my iTunes to 12.2. Can I do this and if so then how?

No, I do not think that this is possible. The Mac App Store bundles these updates together, and there is no way to individually install them. I would also bet that the combo update for 10.10.4 (downloadable here- https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1820?locale=en_US ) includes the iTunes update.
In short, I do not think that you can update to 10.10.4 without also updating iTunes.
