Apple CarPlay in Volkswagen Golf 7

Hi,


I've just bought a new car - a Volkswagen Golf with a possibility to plug-in iPhone via Apple CarPlay. The problem occurs when I'm trying to plug my iPhone 5s - it doesn't work with this phone, whereas it works with iPhone 6 which my brother has - we have tested and it goes very well.


My iPhone 5s is updated with the newest iOS 8.4.


If one of you have or had the same problem, please contact me 🙂

It sounds like Carplay seems to be working for one phone but not for another. Take a look at these troubleshooting steps from the following article to help you out with the affected phone:
