How to make Multiple selections in pages

How can I select multiple characters in a document so that I can color them all at once?

I have a document whit ♥︎ and ♦ all over the page and they must be coloured red eventually. I would like to do them all at once.

No release of Pages v5 provides multiple selection capability. This feature did exist in Pages '09 v4.3.
