Sync Music Not working

When iphone 5 is plugged into my mac book pro running 10.6.8 and I click on the phone icon and the music tab, I used to be able to choose what songs and playlists go on my phone. I know longer have those options. The only option is syncing my voice memos. Never had this problem before upgrading to the latest itunes.

I need it to work the way it used to because I check all my mixes - recordings on my iphone. How do I make it work?
