WWonder if anyone else has had a volume problem with the new iTunes update; I have found the volume really low even when turned up to the top, but when I get a text message the volume suddenly swells and blasts my ears, what the heck? Is there any way of reverting to the previous version or fixing this rather dangerous to my ears bug?

I understand that the volume is low when playing music on your iPhone, but not on other applications. This sounds like Volume Limit or Sound Check may be enabled. You can check to see if this feature is enabled by going to Settings > Music > Volume Limit. If this does not solve the issue, does this happen with all music on your iPhone? Can you test this issue with other music applications?
