Lost the Maps feature in I-Photo

In my I-Photo Places, I have lost the maps. The name of the place appears, but there is no map. Does anyone know of a way to recover the maps for Places?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Contact Apple Support or file a bug report at Apple - iPhoto Mac - Feedback

The maps are working well in iPhoto 9.6.1 and Photos 1.0.

But that would require an upgrade to Yosemite.

It seems to be a general issue for every version of iPhoto using Google pmaps for this geolocalisation feature.

The the service is broken for iPhoto 9.2.x under SnowLeopard and iPhoto 9.4.x under Lion, but it works for iPhoto 9.6.x (Maericks) and newer

you should send a feedback to Apple (IPhoto menu / send feedback) as I don't think anyone in Apple read these forums
