how to edit a playlist with new itunes
i am creating a playlist for when my wife goes into labour. i want to delete all the short songs, intros etc. there isnt a basic view of all the songs anymore

There should be a dropdown at the top right of the iTunes window when viewing a playlist, allowing you to switch from the new Playlist view (which, as you say, offers minimal editing capabilities) to Songs view as available in previous releases.
