address book contacts missing on my imac after iphone upgrade

All of my contact in my address book on my imac OS 10.6.8 are missing. This happened right after I had an iphone upgrade. I have several email accounts on my imac but only two of them are also setup on my iphone. (not sure if this info mean anything).

I've gone back to March of this year in time machine and tried to restore address book and contacts are still missing
