DVD Studio importing problems

Question

DVD Studio importing problems

I am trying to import my FCP quicktime movie into DVD Studio pro, but DVD Studio quits every time I try.

- Movie file is not too large 4.5GB (about a 22 minute movie)

Any thoughts?

Power MAC G5, Mac OS X (10.4.5)

Michael:

You don't mention your movie format but a general workflow is:

- Export your timeline as QuickTime Movie, current settings (self contained is my favorite) and DVD Studio Pro Markers (if you have chapter markers)
- Take that movie into Compressor and use the DVD: Best quality 90 min presets to encode to MPEG2 and Dolby 2.0 (AC3)
- Import those files into DVDSP.
