Dec 2, 2015 11:16 AM in response to gaijindragonslayerby kentfromhalifax,I had this same problem with my BT speaker. It ended up being an issue with WIFI and BT interference issue. I have a 5 ghz network and switched to that and now everything works fine. If you don't have that luxury you may want to change wireless channels on your router.

This was the same issue for me. I have a Netgear R7000 running the Kong version of DD-WRT (just throwing a data point out there) and when I switched to the 5Ghz radio the pausing stopped.

May 4, 2016 5:50 AM in response to DigitalDougieby Mamamiaof3,Aparently Apple won't fix this issue. I don't understand why because I previously streamed Pandora and never had this "pausing" issue. Also what is even more annoying is that it also it randomly pauses my bluetooth phone along with the music, when someone calls. So if someone calls, my radio pauses and disables me from answering it. Again, clearly an Apple music problem. I also dislike the fact that it randomly shuffles my music and does not stay on the last playlist or album I was previously on. They should fix these bugs if they want subscribers.

Sep 3, 2016 2:20 AM in response to DigitalDougieby mknkojoj,Come on Apple, you know it's a problem so fix it. I don't want to cancel and give my business to Spotify, but I will. This is infuriating.

Sep 22, 2016 2:24 PM in response to TJenkinsby morrispe,I've been seeing this issue intermittently ever since signing up for Apple Music when it became available in Canada but it wasn't happening enough to be bothersome. I just upgraded to an iPhone 7 and iOS 10.01 and Apple Music is pausing constantly when I'm walking around downtown and listening to music I've downloaded for offline use.
To make matters even worse when the music pauses it usually kills my earbud controls until I remove and re-connect the 3.5mm to lightning adapter. Therefore I can't simply click to resume, I have to take the iPhone out of my pocket and fiddle with it to get music to resume only to have it pause again seconds or minutes later.
Apple has acknowledged the second issue as a bug that will be addressed in a future software update. I really wish they'd change how Apple Music files are authenticated for listening to resolve the pausing issue. Right now I can barely listen to my music without constant interruptions.

Sep 22, 2016 3:35 PM in response to DigitalDougieby TBubbamorris,I have the same problem. This is why I am suspicious about how well Apple's new lightning headphones will work. Audio playback through the lightning cable has always been iffy. It's really irritating to hear that little pause every time a new song comes on while I'm driving.
