Am I archiving correctly? My workflow?

I would appreciate some thoughts on my method. Thanks in advance. First off, all my media (video) is on an external TB drive. I do keep stills and music on the internal drive. I always keep the camera card as a backup of the raw footage. After my project is complete, I turn off background rendering. Then go in and delete all generated files in events and projects. Finally, I export the project file (EDL for us old folks) and archive that to an external drive.

Is there a better way?

Thanks.

Sounds good – as long as you don't ever plan to change the path of your media (which I seem inevitably to do). Alternatively, use the Consolidate command to bring all the files (including the stills) into the library and archive that way if space is not an issue.
