Q: Do I have to join Apple Music to buy and download the songs that I want? I can't see how to get to iTunes Store without joining Apple Music and paying a monthly fee? Is this right?

Do I have to join Apple Store to buy and download songs I want to buy? I can't figure out how to get to iTunes Store without joining Apple Music and paying a fee since I have done the update? Is this right? Please tell me this isn't the case!!

No, that's not right. You don't need to subscribe to Apple Music. You can continue to purchase music from the iTunes Store. Just switch your iTunes over to the iTunes Store option along the  top of the window. Decline Apple Music.

    I hit the same problem when I wanted to listed to internet radio today.  Here is what I found out.

    Find a free internet radio player with music you like - i found http://www.accuradio.com/smooth-jazz/

     

    Hold the option key and click on the speaker icon - select your airport and you will stream to it. All free of charge.

     

    If you don't show a speaker icon - go to system preferences for sound and check the box at the bottom of the dialogue box.

    I had to do the same thing, click off show apple music on iphone and also on itunes edit, preferences, and unclick show apple music, then I had to reboot the phone

    When I try to preview music from a band's Facebook page, it sends me to iTunes. When I click on "Preview", it sends me to Apple Music. Is there a way to preview music on iTunes without joining Apple Music?

    Do not use the link.  Since you know the band's name, search directly in the iTunes Store or Amazon Digital Music.  When you find the tracks, play the preview.
