What type of recordings are we talking about? I associate recordings with sound recordings. Sound recording do no go in photo stream.

What app are you using to make this "recordings"?

To copy photos, look into dropbox.com. Install app on computer and ipad.

find the icon with a box and an arrow on top. tapping will tell you where things can go.
