Can I delete all contacts from my iPhone 5 and keep all my other data?

Do you sync your phone with iTunes? How do you sync your contacts? Do you use a cloud service for your contacts? If you use a cloud service, you can turn off the contact sync. If you use iTunes, you can turn off sync and sync. That will remove the contacts. Need additional information to be sure of the solution.

If the phone is the only place that you store the contacts, then the only place to remove them is on the phone. The only way to deal with contacts on the phone is to delete them individually.

If you have many contacts to delete, search the App Store for an app called My Contacts Backup (free, and available in the US App Store, I don't know about other countries). One of it's options (within the app under the settings "gear" icon, then scroll down to the bottom) is to Remove All Contacts...this is exactly what it does. In one shot. Be ready because you will lose all of them. Before doing so, you should make a backup of the contacts and archive it, email it to yourself. This is the main feature of the app, to archive...not to just remove contacts. None of your other data will be touched.

I tried. It can't delete all my contacts. Even when I disable iCloud for Contacts. For some reason the phone will NOT delete all contacts. I have tried with two different apps. Any tips?
