Bought a new MacBook Pro: had data, docs, pictures and such transferred to new machine. Now when using outlook and trying to attach a file, "pictures" does not bring up any of the pics I can see in my Iphoto file.

I bought a new MacBook Pro and had all my data, doc, picture files, etc, transferred from my old Macbook Air to the new Pro. I can see all the pictures when I open Iphoto. But when I use Outlook, create mail, go to "attach a file" and go to "Photos" in the bar on the left, no pictures come up. This is apparently some kind of a mapping issue- what to do?

thanks, Jim

I'm having the same problem and it's very annoying. I have been attaching photos to Outlook emails for years but I recently updated my MacBook and Outlook. I'm not sure which update changed things, but when I click the paper clip to attach a photo, and I click "Photos" on the left, under "Media" the top drop-down menu ONLY includes Photo Booth. I'm reading that Outlook 11 and iPhoto are not compatible. So, what are we supposed to do?
