iphone 5 died after os 8.4 update

I updated my phone with latest version which I think is 8.4. It was 100% charged. Made a couple of short phone calls then it died. Can't turn it on and it won't charge.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

What troubleshooting have you tried? Try holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should reboot. Understand this could take up to 30 seconds of holding the buttons.

HHave you experienced battery lost since the last update ISO 8.4? My battery charged to 100% in within 30-50 minutes battery life down to 50%? this all took place since the update. And my last back up is of the most recent update 😟..
