Why am I still able to hear the metronome click after exporting to mp3?

I am using GarageBand 10.0.3 on a MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.3. I am trying to export my GarageBand project as an mp3, but after exporting, when I played back the mp3 track on iTunes, I can still hear the metronome clicks. How do I export it without having the metronome clicks recorded in?

Thanks for your help!

you most likely recorded an audio track with a mic and didn't use headphones, so you recorded the metronome. there's no way to remove it, if that's the case, except to re-record any track upon which the metronome was recorded (using headphones)
