i am able to download/buy apps but when it comes to upgrading apps, it is telling me to put the password of another user in my family's password. How do I fix this so I can put my password in to upgrade apps?
It appears that you have some apps that were purchased/downloaded with the other ID. Apps are locked to the ID used to purchase/download them. Delete the apps looking for the other ID and download with your own ID if you want to use them.
