my wifi is connected but the internet only works for safari and not anything else (app store, youtube etc.) any ideas?

The wifi is connected but whenever I try to open an online app other than safari, it comes up with 'no internet connection'. I have tried restarting my phone and resetting network settings but nothing seems to work.
