can not pair iPhone with Bose bluetooth speaker

can not pair iPhone with Bose bluetooth speaker. I edited the iTunes content and updated the operating system. The phone had previously paired and now will not recognize the speaker. The speaker works fine with my laptop

If you recently updated the iOS, it is possible that you may have to forget the device on the phone, put the speaker back into discovery/pairing mode and repair the two devices.
