The link in the email notifications for new tv episodes does not work.

For the longest time, there's a link in the email notifications I get about new TV episodes available to download and the link brings me to download the latest iTunes! The link is supposed to bring me to iTunes that is already open and logged in to download the latest episode. This has not worked since 2 itunes updates ago. I have all of my settings set up correctly. Somehow the link is broken and I don't know how to fix it?
