I have tried everything and I don't know what to do.

When I do the steps nothing pops up on iTunes.
So you are saying the device is not being recognized in iTunes? Or are you saying that you are not able to get the device into Recovery Mode? What are you seeing on the screen?
A red dot with a charger, it wont be recognized in iTunes.
You will probably need to try again to get the device to be recognized by iTunes, following the steps in that support document. If you cannot get iTunes to recognize the device in Recovery Mode, then you may have to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store for assistance.
