Location and maps stopped working in I Photo 11

I have read on the Mac forum that some people had the same problem, but no solution found.

Anyone with an update on the problem?

iPhoto '11, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

There is no solution as yet. Report your problem to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.

Well, there is a solution and that's to upgrade your system to Mavericks or later and iPhoto to iPhoto 9.6 or later.

This might be a stupid question! Isn't Maverick an older system than Mountain Lion??

Does Location and Maps still work with Maverick?

No. Mavericks is the system just prior to the current Yosemite.
