Fan is running and keyboard light is out.

Hi everyone,

I just updated my MAC with Yosemite 10.10.4 tonight. After about a hour my fan on my Mac is constantly running and my keyboard back light is out. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Any advice is appreciated.

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

Reset the PRAM > OS X Yosemite: Reset your computer’s PRAM

Sorry, I should have noted I am not very tech savvy. How do I reset the PRAM?

ok i realized you included a link to rise tot PRAM but it didn't work. Thank you for your suggestion. Do you have any others? I

Never should have updated to 10.10.4!!!
