Q: "Music available offline" option still shows complete online library

When selecting the option "Music Available Offline" - "Only show music stored on this iPhone", I still get my entire library. This makes it difficult to find the music I took offline.

I tried disabling and re-enabling "How Apple Music" and iCloud Music Library" in the settings. After that it worked good for a while but now it is messed up again. On my iPad it seems to work fine.

Any suggestions?

Did you found a solution for this?

I only want to see the downloaded music and the music which I made offline through Apple Music when I turn on the switch, not a full playlist I have on my Mac with over 5k songs

It even shows them when I'm on cellular data which is turned off for streaming music.

Yes, this is an exceedingly stupid problem with music on the iPhone. Why would Apple include a setting that says it will only show music that is available offline, but when you use that setting it does NOT show only music that is available offline? I have no idea why they did this but I did find out how to fix the problem. If you have thousands of songs though, this is going to be a very tedious way to fix it since you have to go into iTunes, access your purchased page under the "account" menu and hover your pointer over each song so that an "x" button appears to its left, then click the "x" button to hide each individual purchase one by one. Good luck!

And let's just say that this method of hiding music is not one anyone would just stumble upon intuitively using their iPhone.
